South Africa’s Ntuthko Radebe passes away in a car accident
South African defender Ntuthko Radebe has been killed in a car accident in South Africa as confirmed by his club KAS Eupen on Tuesday.
The Belgian club KAS Eupen, where Radebe had been playing for five seasons, have released a statement confirming that Radebe has passed away after suffering from from his injuries in a car accident at his home in South Africa.
“The team, the staff, supervisors, all employees and supporters of KAS Eupen lost a good friend. His kindness, his company, his loyalty, his commitment and good humor have earned him great respect. Ntuthuko Radebe will forever remain a family member of KAS Eupen,” the club said in a statement on their website.
The South African Junior international was a product of Aspire network in Qatar, before joining Eupen in 2012, who were playing in Belgium second division then, spending five seasons with the club, helping them gain promotion to the first division in 2016.
Radebe was part of the team that represented South Africa in 2016 Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro last year, and he also played for South Africa U-17 National Team.
