Amr Gamal expresses satisfaction after Coton Sport match
Al Ahly striker Amr Gamal spoke about his team’s victory against Coton Sport in the CAF Champions League and expressed his happiness after scoring two goals.
Gamal led the Red Devils to an important 3-1 win against Coton Sport as he scored two goals taking his team to the knockout stages of the championship. The 25-year-old said that he believes his team can win the title this season. Gamal assured that statistically, Al Ahly is currently the best team in Egypt.
This is the first time the striker scores in the African championship since his goal in Young Africans SC in April 2016. “I wouldn’t have scored two goals if it wasn’t for my teammates. This is the product of teamwork,” he explained. Gamal thanked his coach Hossam El-Badry for his encouragement before the match and for believing in him. “Hossam El-Badry told me that I will start the match two days before the match. His words to me and the tasks he gave me had a huge role in helping me focus during the match,” he added.
