Ahly winger Ahmed Hamoudi is expected to miss the Cairo derby set to be held in the last round of the Egyptian Premier League due to injury.
General coach Ahmed Ayoub has talked to the press stating that Ahmed Hamoudi will be expected to miss the Cairo derby due to injury.
Ahly vs Zamalek is set for next Monday as part of the last round of the Egyptian Premier League which Al Ahly have already been crowned champions of, while Zamalek are currently third.
Ayoub has clarified that Hamoudi is still following the recovery program which will prevent him from being in the squad for the derby.

It’s worth noting that Hamoudi has suffered his groin injury during Ahly’s CAF Champions League group stages match against Zanaco in Zambia which ended 0-0.
The player limped off in the opening minutes of the match due to injury after impressing in the few minutes he has featured against Zanaco.
