Al Hilal Obayed advance to CAF Confederations Cup

Al Hilal of Sudan have qualified for the quarterfinals of CAF Confederation Cup following the lifting of ban imposed on Sudanese football by FIFA.

The African Football Confederation (CAF) has announced the qualification of the Sudanese side Al Hilal to the quarter-finals of the Confederation, instead of Recreativo Libolo, after FIFA lifted the Sudanese federation’s suspension due to governmental interference which is forbidden.

Even though the Zisco vs Al Hilal match ended in a 3-0 win for Zisco, Al Hilal still maintained their place in the group with 10 points and remained on the top of the group.

Al Hilal Obaid have announced they are presented a request to CAF to approve their qualification of the team to the Confederations Cup quarterfinals.
