OFFICIAL: Al Masry sign Aristide Bancé
Burkinabé striker Aristide Bancé will be playing with Al Masry starting next season after officially joining Hossam Hassan’s side.
Kingfut exclusively reported the arrival of Bancé in Egypt on Saturday to complete a move to an Egyptian Premier League side. The player will be playing with Al Masry after signing a two-year contract on a free transfer move.
Even though Bancé caught the eye of clubs around Africa after his goal against Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, the 32-year-old decided to join the Egyptian club.
Al Masry became the player’s 20th club in his 18-year career, having previously featured for FSV Mainz, Al Ahli UAE, FC Augsburg & HJK Helsinki among several others.
It is worth mentioning that Bancé enjoyed a prolific spell at ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast, guiding the club to the Ligue 1 title after joining them less than a year ago. He was named Best Player in the league along with finishing as the league’s top scorer with 12 goals and also won the MVP award.
The Port Said side have already captured the signature of Hilal Obaid forward Cheikh Moukouro as well as having Wilson in their ranks, with Bance completing their foreign players’ quota for next season.
