Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek joins Hossam Hassan’s Al Masry
Al Masry officially announced the signing of former Zamalek midfielder Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek to join the team starting next season.
Abdel-Malek joined Al Masry in a free transfer move after his contract ended with Tala’a El-Gaish, which he joined two years ago coming from Zamalek.
The 37-year-old started his football career with the White Knights’ youth team in the 2000/2001 season. He then moved to Aswan andGhazl El-Mahalla. Later, he joined Haras El-Hodod where his skills shined as he played 111 games with the club, scored 34 goals and made 21 assists. He also won Egypt Cup in 2008 after Haras El-Hodod defeated ENPPI in the final match.
Abdel-Malek returned to the Whites for two seasons and made 60 appearances in which he scored 13 goals. After winning the league with Zamalek he unexpectedly announced that he will be leaving and was released from his contract.
