Tony Pulis: Hegazi did well against Leicester City
West Brom manager Tony Pulis has praised Ahmed Hegazi following his impressive debut against Leicester City in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
The Egyptian international joined West Brom on a season-long loan with an option to buy from Al-Ahly and his manager Pulis thinks he will find it easy to fit into the club.
“I thought he did well the other night and he’s fitting in well,” says Pulis. “He’s got good English which is important and he will find that it is an easy group to fit into.
“You try to build a family at the club so when they players leave their homes and come to work they are happy to be here. They are good people in our dressing and very easy to mix in with,” he added.
The 6ft 5in defender has become the fourth Egyptian player in the English Premier League alongside Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny, Stoke City’s Ramadan Sobhi and Liverpool newboy Mohamed Salah.
