Salah: Every game we’re getting better and better
Mohamed Salah has revealed his delight with the improvements Liverpool have made in the continental’s pre-season tour ahead of the Premier League season.
The Reds have clinched the Premier League Asia Trophy in Hong Kong after beating Leicester City 2-1 on Saturday. That made it three victories and a draw for Jürgen Klopp’s team in the friendlies he contested since returning from the summer break.
The Egyptian has revealed that Liverpool is getting better after each and every game, which is the most important thing.
“I think we’ve had quite a good start, we’ve played [four] games and won three – it’s a good start for us,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
“And every game we’re getting better and better, so that’s the most important thing.
“It’s a friendly but it’s important for us to win every game and you see the team improving and that’s important thing.”
Salah, who scored his second goal for Liverpool since moving from AS Roma, has paid tribute to his new teammates and the manager.
“We try to play good football. We do what the boss says and try to enjoy the game and also to work hard. I hope it can work every time,” he added.
“The team, we have very good players, who play with heart and with quality, with different styles. I’m playing well with them and trying to show my football.”
The 25-year-old is looking forward to train in cooler weather next week as they head back to Europe.
He said: “It’s too hot here. We’re going back tonight, flying 14 hours, and I think the English weather will be much better!”
