Former Ittihad manager praises Obama’s potential move to CD Feirense

Leonel Pontes, former Ittihad of Alexandria coach, praised the anticipated move for Youssef Obama from Wadi Degla to Portuguese side CD Feirense.

KingFut previously reported that an agreement was reached between the player and the club regarding all terms related to the deal and that Obama will be heading to Portugal soon to finish his medical tests.

The player is expected to sign a two-year deal with  as his loan with Wadi Degla ended this season.

The former manager of the Alexandrian club spoke about Obama’s skills and blessed the move. “He is a very interesting player with good potential. He is a creative player who can play as an attacking midfielder, in the wings and can also take part in advanced counterattacks,” he told Portugal newspaper Record.

Pontes assured that he thinks that the 22-year-old plays well with his body thanks to his physical strength and abilities.

Regarding Obama’s weak points, Pontes said: “He is an emotional player and this can be an unbalancing factor. In terms of the game, he needs to improve his decision-making ability.”
