Official: Zamalek sign Ahmed Daouda from Maqassa
Zamalek have completed the signing of Ahmed Daouda from Egyptian Premier League runners-up Misr El-Maqassa, the club announced on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old playmaker signed a three-year contract with the White Knights keeping him at the club until the summer of 2020 for a reported fee of EGP 8 million.
Daouda, who joined Maqassa in 2015 after his Al Masry contract expired, featured in 25 league games with Maqassa in the 2016/17 season which saw the Fayoum-based side finish second in the league behind champions Al Ahly.
The player has previously expressed happiness over joining the Cairo giants, saying that Zamalek are always aiming to achieve victory and win titles.
Zamalek, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season, announced earlier on Tuesday securing the services of striker Salah Ashour from ENPPI on a three-year deal. They have also completed the signing of Benjamin Acheampong & Kabongo Kasongo.
Meanwhile, Maqassa midfielder Hesham Mohamed joined the Red Devils on a five-year contract on Tuesday.
