OFFICIAL: Zamalek sign ENPPI striker Salah Ashour
Cairo giants Zamalek have completed the signing of striker Salah Ashour from ENPPI on a three-year deal.
The 29-year-old has joined on a deal reported to be around 4.5 million L.E, having agreed personal terms and passed his medical.
Ashour scored three goals for ENPPI last season all in the league and assisted twice in 30 appearances. He had been with the Petroleum club since 2013, scoring a total of 24 goals in 122 games across all competitions.
Prior to that, he spent three seasons with Ittihad El-Shorta, scoring 15 goals. He had also stints at Petrol Asyut and Kuwaiti side Kazma SC.
It’s worth mentioning that Salah Ashour has represented the Egyptian national team four times. His last appearance came in June 2015 against Malawi in an international friendly.
