Former Al Ahly forward Evouna undergoing trial with Lugano
Former Al Ahly and Gabon international striker Malick Evouna is undertaking a trial at Swiss Super League side FC Lugano.
The 24-year-old moved last summer to Chinese side Tianjin Teda for Egyptian Premier League record sale $8 million after just one season with the Reds, where he scored 12 goals in 24 matches, guiding Al Ahly to the league title.
Evouna has found regular football hard to come by as he only played 10 matches [344 minutes] with the Chinese team and scored three goals, and now he is looking for a new team that would make him a regular starter.
It’s worth mentioning that Lugano have qualified for the Europa League group stages for the first time in their history after finishing 3rd in the Swiss Super League last season.
