Egypt International Ramadan Sobhi played 65 minutes in Stoke City’s 2-1 friendly win over Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

Ramadan started the game, which was played away at Bolton, and helped his side winning their second pre-season game after losing to AS Monaco and Championship side Sheffield United, and drawing with Swiss side Young Boys.

Stoke’s first chance came in the sixth minute when Shaqiri’s shot hit the post, then the Wanderers had their first chance through Beevers.

Berahino and Shaqiri traded chances through the half, but it was Bolton who struck first. One minute before halftime, Le Fondre’s acrobatic cross/shot looped over Butland.

In the 65th minute, Bojan was substituted in for Ramadan and 12 minutes later he put Joselu, also a 65th minute substitute, through on goal and he scored Stoke’s first goal.

Six minutes before full-time, Bolton went close to winning the tie when Armstrong’s shot hit the post. Only four minutes later, Diouf’s cross was met by Joselu, who completed his brace and scored Stoke’s winning goal.

The Potters’ final pre-season game will be against German side RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena Leipzig on Saturday, August 5.
