Moataz Eno joins Emirate side Ras Al Khaimah
Former Al Ahly and Zamalek midfielder, Moataz Eno, officially joined Emirate side Ras Al Khaimah, which is coached by former Egyptian national team assistant coach Diaa El-Sayed.
Despite having a good season with Talaa’ El-Geish, playing 26 games and scoring three goals, the 33-year-old was released back in 2015.
Eno then decided to join second division side Pharco for six months in hopes of getting promoted to the Egyptian Premier League; yet, the club failed to make it to the playoffs.
Former Egyptian U-20 national team manager, Diaa El-Sayed, who was recently announced as head coach of Ras Al Khaimah, decided to bring the experienced player to his squad.
It’s worth mentioning that Ras Al Khaimah finished the 2016/2017 league season in 11th place, only one point away from the relegation zone.
The 2006 Africa Cup of Nations winner becomes the club sixth summer signing and will wear the number 4 shirt.
