Osama El-Azab joins Wadi Degla on three-year contract
Former Al Masry captain Osama El-Azab has completed his move to Wadi Degla after signing a three-year contract with the club.
A dispute arose between the right back and Al-Masry manager Hossam Hassan after the player attacked the dressing rooms with his brother, following Hassan’s decision to exclude from his plans for the next seasons. It was also reported that El-Azab’s family insulted Hassan during a training session.
The dispute pushed Hassan to resign from his job as Al Masry manager, before he was convinced by the club’s board to withdraw his decision.
After being referred to investigations by Al Masry, El-Azab released a statement on his Facebook page apologizing to Al Masry fans for his behavior and expressing his love and gratitude for the club and its fans, as well as wishing them luck in the future.
On the other hand, Wadi Degla have announced that they agreed personal terms with El-Azab, signing a three year deal with the club.
