ENPPI agree loaning out Abdallah Gomaa to Zamalek
Egyptian Premier League club ENPPI have confirmed on Wednesday they accepted to let first team midfielder Abdallah Gomaa leave to Zamalek on loan.
Gomaa, who is the younger brother of Al Ahly playmaker Saleh Gomaa, had a short spell with FC Union Berlin in the German second division in 2014 but left the club almost a year later. Gomaa was also offered a trial period at Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in 2015, but things didn’t materialize.
Zamalek have shown interest in acquiring the 21-year-old, and ENPPI director of football Abdelnasser Mohamed said that the player will join the Whites, with a player from Zamalek going the other way.
On the other hand, ENPPI have turned down giving away striker Mohamed El-Shamy after he was requested by Zamalek.
