The Egypt international played the entire 120 minutes in the second leg of the third round of qualifiers after the first leg saw Braga score a crucial away goal in a 1-1 draw at AIK’s Stadium.
Kouka was active throughout the game held the Municipal Stadium of Braga, and was on the end of the first attacking chance of the match, missing a shot in the second minute.
It was AIK forward Chinedu Obasi who opened the scoring in the 14th minute as the guests enjoyed a 1-0 advantage at half-time. The Portuguese team kept pushing for an equaliser and eventually levelled the scoreline in the 74th minute with a goal from attacker Rui Fonte.
