Michael Owen hails Mohamed Salah
The former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker supported the signing of Salah in a £42m deal in June in an interview with premierleague.com as they’ve asked Owen about his predictions and expectations for the new season.
“Mohamed Salah is a really good signing. He didn’t quite nail it at Chelsea but he was young at the time,” said the 37-year-old when asked about the signing that will have the biggest impact in the EPL.
“He’s gone away and had success at Roma and if you’re an attacking player with loads of pace, then you’re valuable. Liverpool are looking like a team with a really potent attack,” he added.
The Egyptian international has shown signs of last season’s form with Roma, scoring four goals in the pre-season with the Reds so far.
