Ramadan Sobhi makes sub appearance as Stoke beat RB Leipzig 2-1
Ramadan Sobhi came on as a second-half substitute as Stoke City beat RB Leipzig 2-1 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Emil Forsberg goal has been cancelled out by Mame Biram Diouf but Marvin Compper scored an own goal as Stoke City beat Germany’s second-placed side from last season.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes started with a lineup that left Ramadan Sobhi on the bench.
Goalkeeper Jack Butland brought down RB Leipzig player Emil Forsberg in the fourth minute in the box, giving a penalty to the German side. The Swede converted the penalty to give Leipzig a 1-0 lead early on in the game.
In the 44th minute, Stoke equalised when Diouf converted a header from Xherdan Shaqiri’s corner to make it 1-1 at half time.
After an injury to midfielder Bojan in the 63rd minute, the Egypt international winger came on to replace him.
Stoke City took the lead in the 78th minute once again after a cross from Shaqiri. The Swiss international crossed it in and Leipzig defender Compper headed the ball into his own net to give Stoke a 2-1 lead.
The Potters secured a 2-1 win in their last pre-season friendly as they begin their Premier League campaign with a match against Everton on August 12.
