Trezeguet scores brace in Kasimpaşa’s friendly win over Istanbulspor
Egypt international Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ scored two second-half goals as Kasimpaşa earned a 3-1 friendly win over İstanbulspor A.Ş.
The 22-year-old, who is on loan at the Turkish side from Belgian league champions RSC Anderlecht, scored a brace against newly-promoted İstanbulspor A.Ş on Saturday.
The first half ended goalless, but within two minutes of the second half, Kasimpaşa opened the scoring through Venezuelan forward Jhon Murillo. Around the one-hour mark, İstanbulspor A.Ş. equalised through Turkish winger Zafer Şensoy.
However, the Egypt international managed to put his team back ahead three minutes later. Trezeguet then completed his brace 17 minutes from time to seal Kasimpaşa a 3-1 victory.
Trezeguet’s side will open their Süper Lig campaign away to Alanyaspor on August 12.
