OFFICIAL: Amr Warda joins Portuguese side CD Feirense
Egypt international Amr Warda has officially joined Portuguese side CD Feirense on a season-long loan deal from Greek side PAOK.
Warda’s journey in Europe started by joining Greek side Panetolikos from Cairo giants Al Ahly in the summer of 2015, playing for 18 months at the club and gaining interest from top-league sides such as PAOK.
Following his impressive period with Panetolikos, Greek giants PAOK signed the Egypt international winger last winter after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. He represented the club for four months, getting his first taste of continental football in the Europa League, winning the Greek Cup and finishing third place in the league behind Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
The 22-year-old joined Feirense on a one-year loan deal after interest from clubs in Spain, Switzerland and England.
CD Feirense, led by Portuguese manager Nuno Manta, finished the Primeira Liga last season in the eighth place and were knocked out of the 32nd round of the Taca de Portugal.
