Ittihad Jeddah winger Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’ has been fined 15 per cent of his monthly salary, according to Saudi Arabian news reports.

The Egypt international was reportedly fined after a dispute with one of the Ettifaq staff during their friendly game, which ended in a 3-0 defeat for Ittihad in the Tabuk International Championship on Friday.

Multiple outlets reported that Ittihad have imposed a fine on the 23-year-old winger following the incident before the Arreyadi newspaper revealed on Monday that he has been fined 15 per cent of his monthly salary.

The Egyptian winger had issued an apology to the club’s fans on his Twitter account after his behavior during the game.

This marks Kahraba’s second successive loan spell at Ittihad after a very successful first year which saw him score 18 goals and provide three assists in 24 appearances.

It’s worth noting that Ittihad will kick-off their new season at home against Al-Batin on Friday, August 11 in the Saudi Pro League.
