Hossam Ghaly returns to Saudi side Al-Nassr – Report
Al Ahly captain Hossam Ghaly has finalised an agreement to join Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr on a one-year contract, according to reports in Saudi Arabia.
Ghaly was named in Al Ahly squad set to face Smouha in Egypt Cup semi final on Wednesday. Nevertheless, reports on Tuesday claimed that Saudi side Al-Nassr have officially completed the signing of the former Tottenham player.
According to Saudi newspaper Arriyadiyah, Al Ahly’s 35-year-old veteran midfielder has agreed a one-year contract and will be earning $800,000 with Al A’alamy next season. The official announcement is set to take place soon, per the newspaper.
The former Egypt international played for Al-Nassr during the 2009/10 season before returning to his boyhood club Al Ahly.
Although he only extended his contract with the Al Ahly for one more season in March, Ghaly struggled with the lack of playing time last season.
