OFFICIAL: Hossam Ghaly joins Saudi outfit Al Nassr
The Red Devils legend Hossam Ghaly officially joined Saudi Arabia outfits Al Nassr on a free transfer deal for one year.
KingFut revealed earlier this week that Ghaly informed the Red Castle of his decision to join Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr this transfer window after accepting a mega-offer from the club. The player however decided to keep any announcement regarding the matter until after Al Ahly Egypt Cup semi-final against Smouha which the Reds won 4-0.
Even though he stated before that he’ll retire with the Cairo-based club, the former Feyenoord & Tottenham Hotspur player will return to the club which he wore their colours back in 2009.
Despite renweing his contract with Al Ahly a few weeks ago, the club have not yet registered his contract in the Egyptian Football Association database which makes him free to leave.
Ghaly will earn a sum of around $850,000 (EGP 15 million) during his one-year contract in Saudi Arabia, which is just above triple of what he makes per year in Egypt.
