VIDEO: Mostafa Fathi scores first goal of 2017/18 SPL season
Egyptian winger Mostafa Fathi scored his first goal with Saudi Arabian side Al-Taawoun FC as his team thrashed Al-Fateh in the first round of the Saudi Premier League.
Al-Taawoun managed to defeat Al-Fateh 4-1 and earned their first three points in the league. Mostafa Fathi scored his team’s first goal in the 20th minute of the game.
Fathi was also involved in the second goal which was scored by Burundian Cédric Amissi in the 56th minute. Two minutes later, Abdulmajeed Al-Sawat added Al-Taawoun’s third goal assuring his side’s domination. Al-Fateh tried to get back to the game and were able to reach Essam El-Hadary’s goal and scored their only goal in the 81st minute.

Five minutes before the game ended, Abdulmajeed Al-Sawat scored his second goal and his team’s fourth ending the game with a big win for Al-Taawoun.
Fathi moved to the Saudi side last month after signing a one-year loan contract with an option to buy for $1.4 million in addition to $600,000 that the player received.
