Mohamed Ramadan to join Zamalek on four-year deal
Ramadan will join the Whites on a four-year deal that will keep him at the club until June 2021, becoming the club’s ninth signing of the summer after Kasongo, Daouda, Salah Ashour, Acheampong, Madbouli, Ahmed Magdi Razak Cisse and Mahmoud Alaa.
The 26-year-old winger spent two years at the Petroleum club, scoring three goals and assisting eight times in 36 appearances across all competitions.
He made 29 appearances last term and was directly involved in 10 goals [three goals and seven assists] as Petrojet finished 9th in the league table and were knocked out from Egypt Cup round of 16.
As part of the deal, Zamalek’s Ahmed Gaafar and Mohamed Salem will be joining Petrojet on a permanent transfer and on loan respectively.
Gaafar was limited to just 13 first-team appearances last season, scoring just one goal against Al Masry in the Premier League. He will return to his former club, where he scored 10 goals and assisted five times in 33 appearances during the 2015/16 season.
Meanwhile, Salem is set for another loan spell after spending last season on loan at Ittihad of Alexandria, where he managed to score two goals in 14 appearances.
