Bidvest: We are still negotiating terms with Al Ahly’s Amr Gamal
Gamal, who stole the show in Egypt Cup final and played a vital role in Al Ahly’s triumph, was cleared by the Red Devils to complete a loan move to Bidvest with an option to make his move permanent at the end of the season.
“Yes, Al Ahly have agreed to loan the player to us but we have not agreed on the terms of that loan. If things materialise we will probably have him down here by this weekend, but we don’t have a single document signed as yet,” Ferreira told Kickoff.com.
The CEO of the South African champions stressed that they are yet to finalise the terms of the loan deal with the Cairo giants, saying that salary negotiations are still ongoing.
“Al Ahly have put it on their website and the reason why we haven’t said anything is not because it’s not true, but because we haven’t agreed yet. If he came over to us we would obviously have to pay the player, but what that is going to be I’m still working on.”
