Paulo Autuori arrives on Tuesday to negotiate Zamalek job
Brazilian manager Paulo Autuori has informed Egyptian Premier League giants Zamalek about his date of arrival to negotiate the first team job.
Zamalek continue their search for a new coach following the departure of former manager Augusto Inacio last month. The club held talks with Romanian coach Victor Piturca in Egypt but negotiations have seen a negative outcome due to difference between offer and demand.
Former Sporting CP coach Frank Vercauteren has emerged as the leading candidate for the White Castle’s job after having a meeting Zamalek board member Ahmed Mortada Mansour, as revealed by KingFut, but the candidacy of Autuori is starting to gain momentum.
Autuori agreed a $1.1 million/year contract to manage Zamalek, and will probably be accompanied by three assistants who are of his own choice.
The 60-year-old coach is due to arrive on Tuesday in order to hold in-depth negotiations on the contractual terms with Zamalek.
