OFFICIAL: PAOK terminate Amr Warda’s loan spell
PAOK have terminated their agreement with Feirense for Amr Warda after the Egyptian was accused of sexually harassing two wives of his teammates.
Only ten days after Warda was presented as Feirense’s new player, the Egypt international found himself in the midst of wild accusations by Portuguese website Record, who reported that Warda’s loan might end after he allegedly harassed two wives of his teammates.
The 23-year-old then declared that these allegations were completely false and has decided to seek legal action against the Portuguese website.
The right-footed midfielder then filed a lawsuit against Record, before PAOK immediately decided to terminate their agreement with the Portuguese side, meaning that Warda will return to his parent club.
Warda was among 15-foreign based players called up by Egypt coach Hector Cuper for the Pharaohs two upcoming fixtures against Uganda in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, but then the Argentine manager decided to replace him with Amr Gamal due to ‘technical reasons’.
