OFFICIAL: Ibrahim Salah joins Arab Contractors
After it was announced earlier this month that Salah would be one of many players to leave the White Castle, the defensive midfielder received several offers from the likes of ENPPI, Smouha and Al Masry before joining the Cairo club.
Salah becomes the latest of a host of former Zamalek players to leave the club, after Mostafa Fathi, Rico, Mohamed Mossad, Ramzy Khaled, Paulo, Ali Fathi and more.
He will be hoping the move will provide an improvement in form for him after he was left out of Hector Cuper’s latest Egypt squad, and he has failed to make the squad since his albeit lackluster performances in the Pharaohs’ run to the final.
Arab Contractors will be looking to improve on their ninth-place finish last season and Salah’s experience may be the catalyst to make it happen.
