OFFICIAL: Mohamed Hamdy Zaki joins Smouha from Al Ahly
Smouha have announced the signing of Egypt international Mohamed Hamdy Zaki from Al Ahly on a three-year deal.
The club’s president Farag Amer revealed on Facebook that his club have secured the services of Mohamed Hamdy for one million Egyptian pounds, and the player waived his entitlement to the Red Castle.
The 25-year-old, who has one Egypt cap, spent the second half of last season on loan at ENPPI, featuring in 11 games and scoring three goals.
Al Ahly’s Marketing Director Essam Siraj stated to the their official website that Hamdy Zaki’s move to Smouha was approved by the club’s technical staff, led by Hossam El-Badry.
He has played for Smouha before on a six month loan from Al Ahly, where he managed to net six goals in 16 matches in 2016.
Furthermore, he had a stint at Ittihad of Alexandria before joining Al Ahly, where he played 76 games and scored 15 goals and provided seven assists.
