Omar Marmoush joins Wolfsburg U-23 team
It has been announced on Wednesday that Wadi Degla youngster Omar Marmoush has completed a move to Wolfsburg U-23 team.
Marmoush has been in a trial period with Wolfsburg since July. He featured in few pre-season friendlies with the U-23 team like the match against SV Rödinghausen.
“Congratulations to our player Omar Marmoush on his transfer to Bundesliga club Wolfsburg, hopefully he becomes one of the best attackers in Europe,” Wadi Degla coach Ahmed Hossam Mido confirmed the move on Twitter.
The 18-year-old striker appeared for the first time with Degla in season 2015/2016 in the Egyptian Premier League where he made an assist in their game against Ittihad of Alexandria.
In the following season, Marmoush was one of the regulars for Mido’s team marking his presence in 15 games and scoring four goals for the Cairo-based side.
