Boubacar Traoré joins Assiouty Sport on one-year loan

Assiouty Sport have successfully signed Mali U21 striker, Boubaker Traore, who represented his country at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in New Zeland. 

Traore signed with the Egyptian side a one-year in a free transfer and was registerd with the team hours before the closing of the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old striker has undergone trial at Belgian club KAA Gent; however, there was no time to assess him further and sign the contract with the club before the transfer deadline.

Assiouty representatives stated that Traore will be the club’s surprise in his first game on Sunday agaisnt Misr El-Maqasah but he has not yet arrived in Egypt due to him not geting his visa yet.

The forward was also part of the Mali U20 squad that played in the last Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

He has previously played for Malian clubs Jeanne d’Arc FC and AS Bakaridjan.
