Steve McManaman hails Salah for goal against Sevilla

McManaman praises Salah's goal

Former Liverpool midfielder heaped praise on Egypt international after his goal in Liverpool’s draw against Sevilla.

Salah stood out for Liverpool in their 2-2 draw against Sevilla in the Champions League group stage opening game, scoring his side’s second goal which was later cancelled out through Argentine striker Joaquin Correa.

McManaman saw nothing wrong in the 25-year-old winger’s goal and contemplates that the player did well to win the ball before firing the shot

“He used his strength. He won the ball back. He got it off N’Zonzi. There was a big deflection, I don’t think it was a foul. I think N’Zonzi was caught out,” McManaman told BT Sport.

This was the former AS Roma winger’s fourth goal of the season with the Reds, after his goal against Hoffenheim in the Champions League playoffs, and his two goals in the Premier League against Watford and Arsenal.

If that’s your perception of a foul than maybe you should watch chess games.
