Egyptian bodybuilder ‘Big Ramy’ wins second place in Mr. Olympia 2017
Egyptian Bodybuilder Mamdouh Elssibiay, also known as ‘Big Ramy’, came second in the annually held international bodybuilding competition Mr. Olympia.
Big Ramy started participating in Mr. Olympia in 2014 when he finished in seventh place. In 2015, the 33-year-old progressed to the fifth position and then finished fourth in the following year. Now, he is getting closer and closer to the title as he continued to advance in the competition finishing in second place in this year’s competition.
Phil Heath won his seventh Mr. Olympia title as the result was announced on Sunday at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada by action movie star and noted bodybuilding enthusiast Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. With this win, Heath equals Arnold’s record of seven titles as well.
Earlier in 2015, Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor, politician and founder of the Arnold Classic Brazil honored Big Ramy for coming in first place in the bodybuilding competition.
