Ismaily to file complaint against Ibrahim Nour El-Dein
Ismaily president Ibrahim Othman has revealed that his club will file a complaint against Ibrahim Nour El-Dein to the EFA following his side’s draw with Arab Contractors.
Ismaily played out a 1-1 draw against Arab Contractors in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League, which saw some controversial decisions by the referee.
Ahmed Ali opened the scoreline for Arab Contractors in the 37th minute before Mahmoud Metwally equalised for the hosts through a superb free-kick just 13 minutes before the final whistle.
Othman claims that Ahmed Ali’s header should have been ruled out for offside, adding that Ibrahim Nour El-Dein should not officiate any other game for the Yellow Dragons.
Nour El-Dien also awarded the Contractors a penalty in the first-half, but Mohamed Farouk was denied from the spot by Mohamed Awaad.
Following the draw, Arab Contractors currently occupy the second place in the league table with four points, while Ismaily sit fourth, only behind the Contractors on goal difference.
