Egyptian Mamdouh Elssbiay ‘Big Ramy’ won the professional bodybuilding competition Arnold Classic Europe 2017 in Barcelona, Spain on Saturday.

The 33-year-old Egyptian went home with the trophy and the cash prize of $100,000 after beating Ghanaian bodybuilder William Bonac and American-Jamaican Shawn Rhoden.

Big Ramy’s win sees him break American body builder Dexter Jackson’s two year streak in winning the competition. This year’s edition of the Arnold Classic Europe competition was held between the 22nd and 24th of September.

The Egyptian beat the 2008 Mr. Olympia as American Phil Heat didn’t compete in the competition. Heath had beat Elssibay in the 2017 Mr. Olympia as Ramy came second behind the American.

The Arnold Classic Europe event was previously held in Madrid between 2011 and 2015. In 2016 and 2017, its venue changed to Barcelona.
