VIDEO: Kahraba scores as Al Ittihad down El-Hadary and Fathi’s Al-Taawoun

Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’ scored, while Essam El-Hadary and Mostafa Fathi played the full 90 minutes as Al Ittihad defeated Al-Taawoun in the fifth fixture of the Saudi Pro League.

Al Ittihad managed to open the scoring just 19 minutes into the game as Fahad Al Ansari converted an accurate free kick past Essam El-Hadary.

In the 47th minute, Al-Taawoun’s Abdelmajeed Al-Sawat scored the equalizer for the home side, as he slotted the ball past Al Ittihad’s goalkeeper.

Just five minutes later, Kahraba dribbled along the left wing, and unleashed a powerful shot past Egypt’s veteran El-Hadary making it 1-2 for the away side.

Following the win, Al Ittihad currently occupy the sixth league spot with seven points, while, Al-Taawoun sits tenth with five points.

It is worth mentioning that Al Ittihad are set to face Ohod on the 13th of October, while, Al-Taawoun will face Hossam Ghaly’s Al Nassr on the same day.
