How to buy tickets to watch Egypt at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia

With Egypt having qualified for the World Cup, here is a simple KingFut Guide on how you can get tickets to attend matches in Russia next year.

Tickets to the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be sold in two phases. So far, there have been 1.5 million application for tickets. They will be issued through a random selection draw and on first-come, first-served basis as you will learn from this guide.

Phase One

You will apply for tickets to matches in the particular venue without knowing which teams will be playing.

The first stage of phase one runs from 14th September to 12th October, 2017. Tickets will be issued to applicants through a random selection draw. Notification on successful application will be made by 16th November 2017.

The second stage of phase one runs from 16th November to 28th November, 2017. Tickets will be issued to applicants on first-come, first-served basis.

Phase Two

You will apply for tickets after the World Cup draw has been conducted. The draw is on 1st December, 2017.

The first stage of phase two runs from 5th December, 2017 to 31st January, 2018. Tickets will be issued to applicants through a random selection draw.

The second stage of phase two runs from 13th March to 3rd April, 2018. Tickets will be issued to applicants on first-come, first-served basis.

Last-Minute Sale

There will be a last-minute sale running from 18th April to 15th July, 2018.


Ticket Prices

FIFA has split the tickets into four categories. The fourth category is reserved for Russian Residents. The other categories are available for purchase through online ticket sale.

Opening Match

  • Category 1 – $550
  • Category 2 – $390
  • Category 3 – $220

Group Stage

  • Category 1 – $210
  • Category 2 – $165
  • Category 3 – $105

Round of 16

  • Category 1 – $245
  • Category 2 – $185
  • Category 3 – $115

Quarter Finals

  • Category 1 – $365
  • Category 2 – $255
  • Category 3 – $175

Semi Finals

  • Category 1 – $750
  • Category 2 – $480
  • Category 3 – $285

Third-place Playoff

  • Category 1 – $365
  • Category 2 – $255
  • Category 3 – $175

Final

  • Category 1 – $1100
  • Category 2 – $710
  • Category 3 – $455

All tickets will be sold exclusively through FIFA’s Ticketing Services. Transfer or resell of tickets is only possible with written consent of FIFA.
