Hegazi, Salah make CAF World Cup qualifiers’ XI of round 5
Salah was Egypt’s main man in their crucial World Cup qualifier after scoring the Pharaoh’s two goals in their 2-1 victory over Congo Brazzavile which ensured they booked a ticket for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Ahmed Hegazi also delivered a solid performance and was behind the assist with which Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ earned a last minute penalty.
The lineup also saw the presence of Tunisia’s Youssef Msakni, who played a major role in their away 4-1 victory over Guinea to set a foot in the World Cup.
