HANDBALL: Mohamed Sanad awarded French league POTM
Egypt international Mohamed Sanad was voted Player of the Month in the French league for the month of September winning 52.7% of the votes.
Sanad joined the French League in June this year after moving to French side USAM Nîmes Gard from Spanish team Club Balonmano Ciudad de Logroño.
With almost 53% of the votes from Made in Hand fans, USAM’s new winger surpassed Dunkirk’s Dylan Garain who received 29.1% of the votes and Saranese Chema Rodriguez who received 18.2% of the votes.
Mohamed Sanad played an important role with Egypt in the 2016 Summer Olympics and although Egypt didn’t advance to the quarter-finals and were knocked out of the group-stages he still proved himself.
