Egypt FA receive compliments from Japan, Algeria on World Cup qualification
The president of the Egyptian Football Association, Hany Abou-Rida, has received congratulations messages from his counterparts in Japan and Algeria after Egypt’s success in making the upcoming World Cup in Russia.
Egypt have finally made their long-awaited return to the World Cup after a last gasp 2-1 victory over Congo in the fifth round of the African qualifiers.
Japan FA president Tashima Kohzo complimented Abou-Rida on Egypt’s “wonderful accomplishment”.

In the same context, Algeria FA have presented their sincere congratulations to Egypt, wishing them to be “a good ambassador to Arab and African football”.
