Karim Hafez features in Lens 2-0 victory


Egypt’s scored and assisted as Lens crushed Bourg-Peronnas six nil in the 11th fixture of the French Ligue 2.

Karim Hafez started in his traditional left back position, as Lens defeated Bourg-Pernonnas away from home.

Lens managed to open the scoring just 13 minutes into the game, as Kevin Fortune finished the ball into the back of the net.

In the 38th minute, AbdelRafik Gerard doubled the scoreline for the away side, as he slotted the ball calmly past the goalkeeper.

Just three minutes, later Egypt’s Karim Hafez sent a powerful low shot from a long range, that found the back of Bourg-Peronnas’ net.

With less than ten minutes to full time, Cyrille Bayala converted the ball into the back of an empty net following a perfect pass by AbdelRafik Gerard.

In the 85th minute Cristian Lopez came in to replace Kevin fortune.

Just two minutes after coming on for the away side, Lopez sent the ball home from the spot, scoring the team’s fifth goal of the night.

Super Substitute Christian Lopez, managed to double his tally in the dying moments of the game, as he headed the ball into the back of the net, following a perfect cross by Karim Hafez.

Following the win, Lens currently occupy the 18th league spot with nine points from 11 games, and are set to face Reims on the 21st of October.
