OFFICIAL: Ehab Galal replaces resigned Tarek El-Ashry as ENPPI coach
El-Ashry resigned from his post after the team’s 1-1 draw with Tala’a El-Gaish. ENPPI, who currently sit 16th on the league table, failed to win any of the five matches they played this season in the league under El-Ashry’s leadership.
Galal, who resigned from coaching El-Maqassa after his relationship with the board of directors deteriorated, will be in charge of the team starting Sunday.
The 50-year-old coach has now established himself as one of the best coaches in Egypt after having a historic season with El-Maqassa leading them to their first top-four finish in their history surpassing Zamalek and Ismaily.
Galal’s first challenge will surely be a tough one as he will be facing his former team El-Maqassa on Thursday in the sixth round of the league.
