Hubert Velud: Our goal is to win in Alexandria as we did in Tunisia

Étoile du Sahel manager stated that his side will go to Alexandria looking to win the second leg against in the CAF Champions League.

The first leg between the two sides saw Étoile du Sahel win 2-1 in Tunisia, meaning Velud’s side need just a draw to go through to the Final.

The Frenchman was respectful of the Egyptian giants, stating that “there is no doubt the the game will be difficult, especially facing such a big opponent such as Al Ahly”. He continued in his pre-match press conference, adding that Al Ahly will also be ready to get the result they need in their home country as his side did in Tunisia. The Cairene side got a boost recently with the news that star playmaker Abdallah El-Said will be fit for the match.

The winner of the two-legged tie will face Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca, who beat USM Alger in the other semi-final on Saturday, in the CAFCL Final.
