Al Masry players fined after results against Al Ragaa, Ismaily

Port Said team, Al Masry has imposed a 35,000 Egyptian Pounds fine on its players after results against Al Ragaa and Ismaily.

The club had gone top of the after a thrilling win over Misr El-Makkasa. But a two-match winless run in the games that followed has seen them drop to third.

The club’s technical bench, led by the Hassan twins, decided to fine the players 10,000 Pounds for the goalless draw against Al Ragaa and 25,000 Pounds for the following defeat against Ismaily.

Al Masry have had a resurgence under the helm of and . The club finished fourth in the league last season and reached the Egyptian Cup final.

As a result, the side will represent Egypt in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup alongside Zamalek.

Al Masry next play Al Ittihad in their 8th match of the 2017/2018 Egyptian Premier League season.
