RELIVE: Al Ahly vs Wydad Casablanca – CAF Champions League final
The Red Castle host the Moroccan side in the first leg on Saturday night at Borg El-Arab Stadium before travelling to Morocco a week later for the decisive second leg.
This marks the third clash between Al Ahly and Wydad this campaign as they were drawn together in the group phase, which saw each side win their home fixture by a 2-0 scoreline.
The Red Devils had qualified to the final game after defeating Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel 6-2 in the second leg of the semi-final to qualify with a 7-4 aggregate score, while Wyadad Casablanca overcame USM Alger 3-1.
