Abou-Treika: Ramadan is second best talent in Egypt after Salah
Ramadan started for Stoke against Leicester City, before being replaced by Peter Crouch, who rescued a point for the Potters, as the two teams played out a 2-2 draw.
The 20-year-old has joined Stoke City in the summer of 2016, scoring just one goal and providing two assists in 27 appearances, many of which have come as a substitute.
“Ramadan Sobhi is the second best talent in Egypt after Mohamed Salah. He will have a great future if he takes advantage of the opportunities he gets,” Abou-Treika told beIN Sports.
“Stoke’s manager Mark Hughes is convinced of his abilities and will continue to give him chances, but it’s Ramadan’s responsibility to produce good performances,” he added.
Ramadan has made only nine appearances for Stoke this season across all competitions, scoring once against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup.
Stoke currently sit 14th in the Premier League with 12 points from 11 games and their next game will be against Brighton on Monday, November 20 at Falmer Stadium.
