Hussein El-Shahat speaks on the National Team, Al Ahly and Zamalek
Hussein El Shahat has spoken about his desire to play for the National Team and the possibility of moving to Al Ahly or Zamalek.
Hussein El-Shahat, Misr El-Maqassa’s right back, has confirmed that playing for Al Ahly or Zamalek would be an achievement for him like any other player in the Egyptian League.
In an interview with dmc Sports, El-Shahat commented on his hopes to play abroad and to play with the National Team in the coming period.
“No official from Al Ahly or Zamalek has spoken with me about moving to either team. Certainly, I hope to play for anyone of them like any other player in the league,” El-Shahat initiated.
“There may have been conversations between officials from one of the clubs with El-Maqassa, but no one spoke to me personally about moving to either one of the clubs,” he continued.
“I wish to play with the national team in the coming period and to play abroad,” El Shahat concluded.
The 26-year-old midfielder scored a hat-trick in his team’s game against Wadi Degla on Wednesday night in the ninth week of the Egyptian Premier League. He has a total of seven goals in eight Premier League games including another hat-trick against Tanta. In Egypt Cup, he scored a brace in the Fayoum-based club win over El Merreikh in the first round of the competition.
