Zamalek announce squad for El-Hodood Egypt Cup clash
Zamalek manager Nebojša Jovović has announced his 22-man that will face Haras El-Hodood in the round of 16 of the .

The White Castle qualified for the Egypt Cup last 16 after beating El-Menya 1-0, while second division El-Hodood caused an upset as they knocked out Premier League side Tanta 2-0.

Zamalek have met the Alexandrian side five times in the Egypt Cup before, with the Whites coming out on top in the five occasions. Their last encounter came in the round of 16 last season, when Zamalek managed to win 1-0 thanks to an Ayman Hefny strike.

The squad has witnessed the absence of Bassem Morsi, Ahmed Tawfik, Mohamed Ramadan, Khaled Kamar, the injured Mahmoud Gennesh, Ahmed Kaboria and Ali Gabr.

Meanwhile Nebojša has decided to include Razack Cisse, Youssef Obama, Ahmed Aboul-Fetouh, Mohamed El-Shamy, Mohamed Magdy and Ahmed Magdy.

Zamalek Squad:

Goalkeeper: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Alaa, Moayad Ajan, Mohamed Magdy, Mahmoud Hamdy ‘El Wensh’, Ahmed Magdy, Aboul-Fetouh.

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Dunga, Abdallah Gomaa, Mohamed Ashraf ‘Rouka’, Ayman Hefny, Mohamed El-Shamy, Moruf Yusuf, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Madbouli, Youssef Obama.

Attackers: Kabongo Kasongo, Benjamin Acheampong, Salah Ashour, Razack Cisse.
